The major purpose of Debes-GA is to unite its members under a structured system dedicated to supporting the family of a deceased Association’s member at the time of death. This purpose is fulfilled by providing monetary assistance to the designated representative (or beneficiary) of the deceased member, helping to cover funeral expenses.

$150 PAYMENT

We support Eritrean families through community efforts, guidance, and shared resources.

$20 AUTHORIZATION

We preserve Eritrean traditions, values, language, and heritage through meaningful community gatherings.

DONATION

Dedicated volunteers serve the community with time, care, compassion, and commitment.

Your $150 Application Fee Has Been Received

Thank you for applying to become a member of the Eritrean-American Debes Association of Georgia.

We have received your $150 application fee, and your membership application can now move forward for review.

Important: Your Membership Is Not Yet Active

Payment of the application fee does not mean that you have been approved or accepted as an official member of the Association.

Your application must first go through our membership review and approval process.
Please allow approximately 30 days for the review process to be completed.
During this time, the Association may contact you if additional information, documentation, or clarification is needed.
Once the review is complete, you will be notified of your membership status and, if approved, when your official membership becomes active.

What Happens Next?

Four stages stand between your application and active membership.

Application & payment received

Your submitted application and $150 payment are received.
Application review

The Association reviews your information and eligibility. This process may take approximately 30 days.
Final decision

You will be contacted once your application has been reviewed.
Membership activation

Only after your application has been approved will you become an official member of the Eritrean-American Debes Association of Georgia.
